Organisational Wellbeing: Industrial Age vs Age of Connection

I'm reading a brilliant book at the moment by Khurshed Dehnugara called 'Flawed but Willing'. It's a book on leadership, which may make some of you want to run for this hills, after all there are a lot of books on the subject of leadership. But this, however, is a very good one and there are plenty of testimonials to suggest I'm not the only one who thinks so.  It is written from the heart and from a place of experience and wisdom - the author really has lived through the words he writes. As one of the testimonials says, I too felt as if I was being taken on an emotional roller coaster. I am both transfixed and gripped by this book. It's ultimately an uplifting read and if you're interested in culture change, leadership, challenging and the future, then you really should bother reading this book.  If you're not familiar with the way organisations are integrating a new age into the old one, then this chart taken from Khurshed's book (p.34) helps you to make much more sense of it. This is the future and businesses that fail to understand and act will be left behind in the wake of a fundamental evolutionary shift that is happening.
